About WorldChanger

Every child carries their own strengths, possibilities and dreams. The WorldChanger Foundation helps children and young people unfold them, master challenges and walk their own path.

WHERE WE COME FROM

In 2018, Robert Laner founded WorldChanger in Salzburg with the vision of inspiring people worldwide and showing that positive change begins within ourselves. A former police officer with a degree in business psychology, he combines discipline, empathy and a deep understanding of how change really happens – not through grand resolutions, but through inspiration that turns into positive routines.

Out of this grew a community with a shared goal: mental health and mental strength as the key to change – to seize more opportunities, handle difficult situations better and be happier.

Today WorldChanger pursues this idea with a clear focus on mental health, mindset and well-being on two levels:

WorldChanger Business

strengthens adults through a range of offerings around mental health, mindset and well-being.

WorldChanger Foundation

strengthens children and young people as a non-profit organisation.

Robert Laner — Founder

“I used to experience many moments where I questioned not just myself, but the whole world - I saw how for many people, and for myself too, every day became a challenge just to cope with life. I founded WorldChanger to walk my own path and to encourage others to start the journey to their true self, to take a good future into their own hands - for me, the mind (mindset and mental health) is the key.”

WHO WE ARE

Since 2026 the WorldChanger Foundation gGmbH has been the non-profit arm of WorldChanger. Our goal: children and young people who step into their future mentally strong – with knowledge, tools and role models who show that mental challenges are part of life and that dealing with them well can be learned.

We do prevention, not therapy. Our programs complement existing support but do not replace psychological counselling. They start early, before pressure becomes a crisis – free of charge, science-based and carried by a community that lives mental strength.

OUR VISION

Strong mindset & mental health for all humans.

We want a world where mental strength is a given. Not only when something breaks, but as the foundation for a conscious, strong life.

WorldChangers are people who take responsibility for their inner attitude – and encourage others to do the same.

OUR VALUES

Impact-Driven

We focus on measurable reflection and long-term societal stability.

Authentic

We share real stories and tangible impulses.

Empowering

We strengthen self-care and resilience to ensure a strong future for the next generation.

HOW WE GET THERE

We connect public attention with hands-on prevention. At the centre of our work is a network of well-known personalities and companies who contribute their reach, experience and expertise. This network is the force that lets us make mental health visible and truly reach young people.

This is where our two pillars come from:

01

Awareness

Together with our community we make mental health visible, share knowledge and help break the taboo. Personal stories show young people that mental challenges are part of life – and that handling them well is a skill that can be learned.

TWO STRONG REASONS WHY WE ARE NEEDED

Mental health is one of the great challenges of our time.

Psychological strain among young people is rising, while pressure at school, social uncertainty and constant digital comparison shape their everyday lives. The consequences can affect learning, relationships and personal development. Because many mental illnesses begin at a young age, children and young people need to learn early on how to understand their mental health and cope with challenges.

Schools need support with a growing task.

They teach knowledge while also supporting young people's personal and social development. The German School Barometer shows how great the need is: a quarter of the students surveyed feel psychologically burdened. At the same time, 46% of teachers name dealing with student behaviour as their biggest professional burden, and a lack of time makes everyday school life harder. Schools are an important place for promoting mental health – and for that they need complementary programmes and partners who support them in putting it into practice.
